MoMo Hosts Panel on Mobile Payments

On Monday, April 23^rd, Mobile Monday DC hosted a discussion focused on mobile payments and commerce. The event, which was held at Davis Wright Tremaine’s Washington, DC office, featured a distinguished group of panelists from the communications, financial services, and legal industries, including:

1) Graphic Designer / HTML expert - Like our website? Neither do we! If you're a Ning platform guru / design expert, we need you to overhaul our look and create a compelling destination site for our membership.

2) Accountant / Tax Whiz - As we grow and evolve as an organization, we need your advice.

3) Print / Signage company - We hope to launch collateral and signage for our events in 2012, help us!

Donate Your Cellphones, PDAs and Pagers!

MoMo DC, in conjunction with Women in Wireless, continues to collect donated cellphones, pagers and PDAs to benefit Grameen Foundation. Each device is recycled into a microfinance loan to lift women out of poverty. You can learn more at recycletoeradicatepoverty.com.
